Product Description

A mono-functional acrylate monomer having both methacrylic and amine functional groups is called N,N-Dimethylaminoethyl Methacrylate (DMAEMA) by BASF. It gives polymers adhesion, a demulsifying action, and water solubility. Both copolymers and homopolymers are produced. Its copolymers can be made using methacrylates, acrylonitrile, amides, and esters as well as acrylic acid and its salts. It is also very useful feedstock for chemical synthesis, because it readily undergoes additional reactions with a wide variety of organic and inorganic compounds.
